All units with the exception of the Alfresco require a
bleed added to the bottom of your visible design.(See BOTTOM
BLEED column above). Simply extend the background at
the the bottom of the visible area by the specified amount.
The extra bleed area is attached to the roller mechanism
inside the cassette. Also, position any text or logos at
least 150mm
above (37.5mm
1/4 size) the base
of the visible graphic area.
 Artwork
can be produced with software such as QuarkXpress 7.2 (Mac) or Adobe Illustrator CS3 (Mac)/ CS1 (PC).
Do not produce your artwork on screen at full size. Set
your document size at 1/4
size as specified in the 1/4
SIZE column
Scanned photographic images are preferred as CMYK
EPS (or TIFF) files and NOT colour separated.
Let us know what size the final image will appear and we will
advise the most suitable file size for your cropped image
scan (printing is done at 600dpi). As a rough guide a full
size photograph completely covering a typical banner would
be approximately 120MB (uncompressed file).
Ensure that ALL
fonts and imported
files in your design are supplied. Text may also
be vectorised (converted to curves) as an alternative to supplying
fonts.
Ensure that there is no "text linking" or similar
connections between items.
Do not include crop marks on your design.
Supply a hard copy colour
proof to assist repro (laser colour if possible) and provide
all PANTONE reference numbers.
Convert ALL required colours to CMYK (try to minimise the use of black when matching colours) and NOT colour separated.
