Unlike floor to ceiling cable kits that are supplied complete and ready to fit, floor to ceiling rod fittings consist of the top and bottom fittings but the rods themselves need to be purchased seperatly. The rods come in 1500mm lengths that screw together to make the desired length. You will need to calculate how many lengths of the rod you require and when installing the pre-assembled sections measure the length you need and cut to size with a hacksaw.

Please remember that to ensure the fittings will support up to 200kg it is vital that any fastenings used to attach the fittings to ceiling and floor are suitable. Each fitting is attached using a single screw so it is most important that extra care is taken at this stage of the installation.
